Merritt stays close on Dylan's heels, glancing back over his shoulder occasionally and staying alert for any sounds indicating someone might be following them. When Dylan opens the door, he ducks in behind him, turning to lock and bolt the door before he huffs out a breath.

"I don't think anyone's in here," he whispers faintly. He doesn't feel anyone, anyway, but he's also not going to relax too much until Dylan clears the place.
