When he woke up to the text, he'd gone immediately to Merritt's room and tried to pull him out immediately and by himself. It hadn't gone very well. Afterwards, he'd all but literally started kicking down doors, going room to room to wake the rest of their people. That, he figures, was just as much a rude awakening as the news he delivered once he'd had them all out of bed and together.
