Merritt steps into this one as readily as he did the first, clinging back, one hand still at Dylan's neck. He doesn't pull away until Dylan does, and then he, too, wipes at his eyes and then runs his hand down his face as he nods a few more times than is probably actually necessary, as he pulls himself back together.
